In 1999 through 2000 DanCell worked with Siemens in France to develop the business opportunities for UMTS/WCDMA in France in preparation for with the auctioning of the mobile licenses in France. The cooperation involved management support regarding the network roll out strategies for the various contenders for the licenses, and included detailed radio planning reflecting a variety of business models for all major cites in of France.
