Investment Opportunities: DanCell is currently preparing the launch of two new projects in
Maritime Broadband and Rural Broadband following the successful launch
of a 3G project with independent bank valuations of US$ 200m after two
years of operation based on investments of US$ 7.6m.
In a recent newsletter we reported
on the achievements by DanCell management and staff in designing and
managing a 3G project with a historically low CAPEX of € 140/sqkm
providing 97% area coverage in Denmark. The value of the operating
company NMD has been established to US$ 200M after just two years of operation.
Two independent valuations were carried out by Scandinavian Bank Nordea respectively independent consulting firm Devoteam arriving close to a valuation of US$ 200m. According to the latest annual report audited by international auditors PricewaterhouseCoopers
the investments in the company has been mere US$ 7.6M in the project
(including auction fees for spectrum). Suggesting a comfortable return
on the investment as DanCell CEO Erik Hornung modestly comment.
Another client recently cashed $ 1.3b after selling its holding in a
mobile projects which DanCell had helped get off the ground 15 years ago.
